Major Vic Deakins was a rogue Air Force pilot and the main antagonist in Broken Arrow who masterminded the theft of two nuclear weapons to blackmail the U.S. government. He was portrayed by John Travolta.
Major Vic "Deak" Deakins is a pilot in the United States Air Force. After a sparring match, the he is assigned to a top secret exercise on a B-3 Stealth Bomber (a fictional advanced version of the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber) with two nuclear bombs on board. Deakins and and his friend Hale take off from Whiteman Air Force Base carrying the thermonuclear weapons on an evening exercise over Utah. After successfully evading Air Force radar during the exercise, Deakins begins a friendly conversation to distract and shoot Hale. A struggle ensues, ending when Deakins ejects Hale. He then releases the bombs from the plane without detonating them and, with the help of a team of mercenaries, he robs them and kills everyone that obstructs hi in his goal.
It turns out, he wants to blackmail the government with the nuclear weapons he robbed with the purpose of achieving 250.000.000$. His friend Riley Hale stops him and his team after several encounters.
He dies by willingly placing himself on the way of the deactivated bomb going out of a train.
