Peter Wingfield (born Sept. 5, 1962) is a English actor best known for his portrayal of Methos on the long-running "Highlander" television series. Wingfield also had recurring roles on shows such as "Soldier, Soldier", "Cold Squad", "Strange World", "Queen of Swords", "Stargate SG-1", the 2004 American version of "Touching Evil", "The L Word" (with Mia Kirshner and Jennifer Beals), "Men in Trees", "24", "Holby City", "Caprica" and "Sanctuary". He has guest-starred on various other shows and appeared in films such as The Men's Room, Highlander: Endgame, Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge, X2: X-Men United (with Halle Berry, Brian Cox, Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart), Catwoman (again with Berry and with Benjamin Bratt, Byron Mann and Michael Massee), Highlander: The Source, The Last Sin Eater, the 2010 version of Riverworld and the animated original film War of the Worlds: Goliath.
