Lyman Earl Collier was played by Brian Cox in the 1996 movie Chain Reaction.
He was responsible for the sabotage of the water reactor and the kidnapping of two of its scientists under Paul Shannon´s orders, but did it clumsily and escalated his clumsiness all the time. He was killed by Shannon for his incompetence, cowboy attitude and for having overstepped his boundaries. Shannon also did it so he could save Eddie´s and Lily´s lives.
