Kurt Russell (born March 17, 1951) is an American television and film actor. He portrayed the role of Dr. David Grant in Executive Decision.
Career[]
Russell was a child actor who appeared in television shows, such as "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.", "The Fugitive", "Gunsmoke" and "Daniel Boone".
Russell is known for his roles as Snake Plissken in the futuristic pre-Die Hard scenario action film Escape from New York and its sequel, Escape from L.A., an Antarctic helicopter pilot in the cult film The Thing, U.S. Olympic hockey coach Herb Brooks in Miracle and a villainous stuntman in the Quentin Tarantino Death Proof segment of Grindhouse.
His other film appearances include Big Trouble in Little China, Overboard, Tango & Cash (with Cliffhanger actor Sylvester Stallone), Backdraft, Tombstone, Stargate, Breakdown, Soldier, Dark Blue (with Scott Speedman) and Poseidon. He also had a voice role in the classic Disney film The Fox and The Hound.
