Ice-T (born February 16, 1958) is an African-American actor, author, rapper and heavy metal singer who's rise to acting fame came from his role as Detective Odafin "Fin" Tutuola on the popular NBC television spin-off "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", a role which he still appears in to this very day. Notable movie roles include the Breakin' film series, Ricochet (with Denzel Washington), Trespass, Surviving the Game (with Gary Busey and Rutger Hauer), Johnny Mnemonic (with Keanu Reeves and Dolph Lundgren), Tank Girl (with Lori Petty), Mean Guns, Luck of the Draw (with William Forsythe, Michael Madsen, Eric Roberts and Dennis Hopper), 3000 Miles to Graceland (with Kurt Russell, Kevin Costner, Howie Long, Christian Slater and Bokeem Woodbine) and as the narrator in the comedy The Other Guys (with Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg). He has done various voice-overs for several hit video game series and has received numerous awards for his hit rap music during the 1980s, 1990s and today. Personally, he is also known for his marriage to glamour model Coco Austin.

Campbell has appeared in various Die Hard scenario type movies. In 1992, he appeared in Walter Hill's action-crime drama, Trespass, which echoed not only Die Hard but the original Assault on Precinct 13. In 1999, he appeared as the main villain in both low-budget Die Hard rip-offs Stealth Fighter (which he also executive produced) and Final Voyage. These productions were also both directed by Jim Wynorski and produced by Andrew Stevens (both of who have created several other B-movie Die Hard-inspired clones). In 2000, he appeared in The Alternate (with Eric Roberts) and in another low-rent knock-off called Sonic Impact, this time playing a federal air marshal trying to escort a dangerous criminal on a plane that is later sabotaged by terrorists. In 2001, he appeared in yet another airline-held-hostage premise called Air Rage, which was directed by schlockmeister Fred Olen Ray. Later that same year, Ice made a cameo in Ticker.
