Robert Forster (born July 13, 1941) is a veteran American actor who portrayed General Edward Clegg in Olympus Has Fallen and it's sequel London Has Fallen. He appeared in another Die Hard scenario sequel Demolition University.
Career[]
Forster has appeared in a number of films including: Reflections in a Golden Eye, The Stalking Moon, Medium Cool, The Black Hole, Alligator, Vigilante, the pre-Die Hard film The Delta Force (with Chuck Norris and Liam Neeson), Peacemaker, Maniac Cop 3: Badge of Silence (both with Robert Davi), Scanner Cop II (with Patrick Kilpatrick), Jim Wynorski's Point of Seduction: Body Chemistry III (with Andrew Stevens), Original Gangstas (with Fred Williamson), Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown (with Samuel L. Jackson & for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor), the 1998 version of Psycho, All the Rage (with Bokeem Woodbine and Gary Sinise), Supernova (with Angela Bassett), Me, Myself & Irene, Mulholland Dr., Firewall (with Harrison Ford and Robert Patrick), D-War (with Matthias Hues) and The Descendants (with George Clooney).
Forster also appeared in many shows, such as "Police Story", "Magnum, P.I.", "Murder, She Wrote", "Walker, Texas Ranger", "Numb3rs", "Heroes", "CSI: NY" (again with Sinise) and "Breaking Bad". He recently had a recurring story arc as the title character's estranged father on the short-lived FOX comedy procedural series "Backstrom" (with Dennis Haysbert and Page Kennedy).
