Joe Mantegna (born November 13, 1947) is an American actor, producer, writer, director and voice actor. He is best known for his roles in box office hits such as ¡Three Amigos! (with Tony Plana), The Godfather: Part III, Forget Paris and Up Close & Personal. He earned Emmy Award nominations for his television roles on "The Last Don", The Rat Pack and "The Starter Wife". He had recurring roles on shows such as "The Simpsons", the short-lived "First Monday" and the popular "Joan of Arcadia" in addition to working on various indie and low-budget films with either acclaimed playwright David Mamet or regular home video markets prior to becoming reknown for his role as the lead character FBI Supervisory Special Agent David Rossi on the acclaimed CBS procedural series "Criminal Minds".
