C. Thomas Howell (born December 7, 1966 ) is a former child star who's rise to fame came as starring as the character "Ponyboy" in the 1983 adaptation of author S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders (with Rob Lowe and Tom Cruise). Howell later starred in various indie and B-movie features including the low-rent Die Hard scenario films Dead Fire and The Terror Experiment. Howell has recently appeared in films such as The Amazing Spider-Man (with Vincent Laresca) and had recurring roles on shows such as "Criminal Minds" and "Southland". He has shared the screen often times with the likes of Tom Sizemore, Danny Trejo, Dennis Hopper, Jeff Fahey, Nick Mancuso and Michael Madsen.
