Sylvester Stallone (born in July 6, 1946) is an American actor, screenwriter and film director. Stallone is well known for his Hollywood action roles. Two notable characters he has portrayed are the boxer Rocky Balboa and soldier John Rambo. He wrote every episode of the two eponymous franchises, and directed some of their installments as well.

He portrayed Gabe Walker in Cliffhanger and Kit Latura in Daylight.

Besides both the Rocky and Rambo franchises, Stallone appeared in numerous films since the 1970s, such as F.I.S.T., Paradise Alley, Nighthawks (with Billy Dee Williams and Rutger Hauer), Cobra, Lock Up (with Danny Trejo and Tom Sizemore), Tango & Cash (with Kurt Russell), Demolition Man (with Wesley Snipes and Sandra Bullock), Assassins, Cop Land (with Robert Patrick), Antz, Get Carter (again with Sizemore), Spy Kid 3-D: Game Over, Shade, The Expendables franchise and 2013's Escape Plan (with Vinnie Jones).
