Dr. David Grant is a a United States Naval Academy graduate turned anti-terrorist consultant and the main protagonist in the 1996 film, Executive Decision. He is portrayed by Kurt Russell.
Executive Decision
He was hunting nerve gas chechen terrorists had stolen. He later came to the conclusion it was on the plane to Washington and gave the Secretary of Defence the advice not to allow it to fly to Washington or elsewhere in the country.
He joined the team that received the duty to board the plane while on air to take it over from the terrorists and neutralise the nerve gas, if it is there.
With losses thay board the plane, discover the nerve gas and, with the help of a stewardess, he and the soldiers stop the terrorists and land the plane in Washington.
