Alexander Siddig (born November 21, 1965) is an English actor born in Sudan and who is recognized internationally for his role as Dr. Julian Bashir on the spin-off show "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (with Colm Meaney). He has appeared in films such as Vertical Limit (with Temuera Morrison), Reign of Fire (with Christian Bale and Gerard Butler), Kingdom of Heaven, Clash of the Titans (both with Liam Neeson), Cairo Time, Inescapable and The Fifth Estate. He recently had recurring roles on the shows "Primeval", "Atlantis", "Da Vinci's Demons" and "Game of Thrones" (with Lena Headey and Deobia Oparei).
